BEHIND THE BRAND : CRA-YON
When we were searching for a niche fragrance brand that was clean(er), sustainable and creative we thought we hit the jackpot with Swedish brand CRA-YON.
Cra-Yon was launched in 2020 by French/Swedish fragrance pioneers Christine and Niclas Lydeen. They have developed award-winning fragrances in the premium segment for many years, always with the same fascination and exploration of the transportive power of scent as enhancer and elevator of our well-being.
"The sense of smell is a powerful and subjective sense, and with Cra-Yon, we want to inspire everyone to awaken their nose and make scent a natural part of their well-being and personal expression. We see scent as an invisible superpower that triggers and enhances your presence. It's capturing moments, pausing, and asking oneself, 'How do I want to feel today? About the founders :
Christine has a French background and was educated at Studio Bercot in Paris and has worked at trend agencies such as Li Edelkoort and the fashion house Vivienne Westwood before fragrance became her main form of expression. Niclas has an MFA in Design and has worked as a Creative Director for several brands and design agencies and has also worked artistically with senses and scent as a starting point. Together with their international team, they are building CRA-YON to be a welcoming universe where inspiration and wellbeing take center stage.
Lets get behind the scents
Art Life activates your senses, raises your energy and stimulates your creativity with a composition filled with Citrus, Neroli and Tonka. Like stepping into an airy, bright atelier in Marrakech enveloped by warm breezes of bergamot and fig.
It opens with with an attention-grabbing, bright and zingy citrus accord. After about 15 minutes, a lovely creamy and sweet Fig note appears and the fragrance settles down into a clean and earthy smell with a touch of fruitiness.
