Hand-washing the tights in cold water, every 5-6 wears in order to get rid of the build-up of body oils and dead skin cells. It is also possible to wash our tights in a washing machine, on a delicate cycle, at 30 degrees celsius, preferably in a mesh garment bag. Avoid putting the tights in with anything that they can snag on, such as zippers, hooks, clasps, or any metal parts or heavy-duty clothing items.
About the Brand
Each year, two billion pairs of tights are produced, worn a few times and then simply thrown away, helping to contribute to the huge amounts of waste in the textile industry. Nylon yarn which is currently used to produce most modern pantyhose is created from an environmentally harmful petrol based manufacturing process that is not only bad for the planet but also makes pantyhose that are very easily broken. These practices have become the norm so Swedish Stockings created an amazing line of sustainable tights and socks made from recycled yarn and their factories engage in sustainable practices such as using environmentally friendly dyes, post dyeing water treatments, and the use of solar energy wherever needed in their manufacturing plant. Oh, and did we mention that the founders are two power women. Definitely Verse Approved.
