About the label : 

In 2015, Niko Vatheuer founded Embassy of Bricks and Logs, a vegan company with a plan to create a contemporary fashion outerwear brand with high aesthetic and ethical standards. Vatheuer had been in the fashion industry for more than two decades, running a successful streetwear fashion brand before. Through their designs, focussed on contemporary, utilitarian silhouettes with a functional approach and the use of hand-selected premium materials, the Embassy brings a high-quality streetwear approach into the realm of ethical fashion. Even though Embassy of Bricks and Logs doesn’t identify as an ethical fashion brand, striving for new, sustainability-driven solutions to making great outerwear is part of the DNA of the brand. They are always on the lookout for new materials and champion a forward-thinking approach always – in regards to garment workers, animals and the environment. This isn’t ethical to them. That’s common sense for them.The Embassy want to make the final goal of putting out a collection made from 100% sustainable materials a reality by 2023 and want to establish other third-party certifications until 2025.

At Verse we value shipping as sustainably as possible and giving the best service to our customers, who share our awesome values. Here's how it works.

Shipping 

The Netherlands : 

  • Orders received before 10 am are sent the same day ( Mon - Fri).
  • We use Fietskouriers service who send you a tracking code. 
  • The delivery time is usually within 1 working day.

Europe : 

  • Orders received before 10 am are sent the same day ( Mon - Fri).
  • Standard shipping is by DPD home and usually takes up to 5 working days.
  • We work with Sendcloud who will send you an update about your shipping. 

Rest of the world : 

  • Orders may take 1-2 days to process. 
  • Shipping is done by DHL.
  • UK Orders - due to Brexit any orders above 135 pound are now subject to custom fees. These are to be paid to the carrier upon delivery. Delivery may take slightly longer due to customs clearance of each parcel.

In Store Returns

  • At Verse we offer full refunds only if the item is visibly faulty. If the item is at fault then send an email to info@versegoodstore.com with a clear photo and description of the fault. 
  • You will need a full proof of purchase, the email invoice that is sent when the item is purchased. 
  • Returns are not valid on sale goods, clean beauty, or jewellery items. 

 

Online Store Refunds

  • If you have received your goods and it was not to your expectation or does not fit, we will process a refund once receiving it back in store, and checking its in re sellable condition only within 14 days of placed order.
  • The cost of return is on the client. 
  • Items should be sent back to Gerard Doustraat 84H, 1072VW Amsterdam with a note of your name and order number inside. 
  • Once item(s) are received we will check them and proceed your automated refund which should be on your account within 7 days. 
  • Feel free to return items in person to one of our retail stores. 

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at finance@verseamsterdam.com.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

  • Exchanges are valid on orders within 14 days of purchases date under condition that the item has not been worn. 
  • Jewellery, clean beauty & underwear are not exchangeable. 
  • Bring your item to our store with the valid receipt and we are happy to take care of you & find the perfect fit.
