It's second hand September and that means that we couldn't let it go by without giving a shout out to some of our absolute favourite places to score high level second hand and vintage fashion, accessories and more. 

The Facts : 

Only around 15% of consumer used clothing is recycled. Whereas more than 64% of the approximated 32Bn garments produced each year end up in a landfill. The other amounts end up getting incinerated or destroyed. Makes us a little woozy to hear about this. 

We wanted to shout our our favourite vintage and second hand fashion stores in Amsterdam. Give them all a visit next time you hit the shops. 

Reveuse Vintage - Bilderdijkstraat 201

Reveuse is a beautiful dreamy store in the centre of Amsterdam. The store is run by a female stylist Anouk Oceanne, who hand picks this romantic and Y2K curation of stunning pieces.  Her unique aesthetic is what makes a visit here so special, expect to find pieces reasonably priced to wear every day or for special occasion. 

Gimme Glitter - Herenstraat 

The ultimate destination for cool girl vintage. Gimme Glitter on the Herenstraat buys in must haves only. Their selection of brands in store is so unique that we don't think you will find this anywhere else in the city. The store itself is full of unique hand picked vintage. The perfect place to bring your phone, get dressed up and get your pics on Instagram fast. 

Fashian - Hartenstraat

The name stands for fashion and Ian the name of the owner of the store. Who is on hand and ready to tell all the must know information about the products available in this store. He takes a ton of care into the curation and the quality of the product. If you are looking for super rare finds from brands like Prada, Vivienne Westwood & more then this is the place to be. Visit Fashian on the Hartenstraat and say hi for us. 

The Next Closet - Bilderdijkstraat

You may know this online store for second hand designer goods from their website www.thenextcloset.com. But did you know that aside from online they have their own atelier store on the Bilderdijkstraat. All items are listed as premium on site are available for try on in their physical location making it the perfect way to be sure about that special purchase. We love concepts that are using tech to figure out ways to be less impactful on environmental waste. 

De Ruilhoek - Maasstraat

This hotspot is our go to for current styles and the most fun vibes. This store sticks to a super high standards when picking their vintage fashion and styles. The bonus is that they also re sell make up that bloggers have not used in majorly bargain price points. It's only a 5 minute bike ride from Verse, what are you waiting for. 

Enso - Albert Cuypstraat

We couldn't forget our good friends at Ensõ vintage. We also work together with the lovely lady founders to source our own vintage from time to time. Expect to find stunningly curated fashion from brands like Maxmara and Jacquemus in beautiful colour coordinated ways and great accessible price points.
